Gandhinagar Lok Sabha Election Schedule 2024: Elections will be held in 7 phases across the country and the results will be declared on June 4, 2024. This will be the longest general election in India, lasting for a total of 44 days. Incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi will complete his second term and will contest for the third consecutive time.

Preparations for the 18th Lok Sabha elections 2024 are going on across the country. The dates of the Lok Sabha elections were announced on 16 March 2024. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar along with the newly appointed Election Commission Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sindhu announced the dates of the elections.

This time elections will be held in 7 phases across the country and the results will be declared on June 4, 2024. This will be the longest general election in India, which will last for a total of 44 days. Incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi will complete his second term and will contest for the third consecutive times.

In Phase 1, voting will be held on 102 seats of 21 states on 19 April. In Phase 2, voting will be held on 88 seats of 12 states on 26 April. In Phase 3, voting will be held on 94 seats of 13 states on 7 May. Whereas, in Phase 4, voting will be held on 96 seats of 10 states on 13 May. Talking about Phase 5, in this phase, voting will be held on 49 seats of 8 states on 20 May, while in Phase 6, voting will be held on 57 seats of 7 states on 25 May and in Phase 7, voting will be held on 57 seats of 8 states on 1 June. The date of result has been kept as 4 June 2024.

Talking about Gujarat, voting will be held in a single phase for 26 seats, which will be held in the third phase (May 7), which includes the seats of Kutch, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Bharuch, Bardoli, Surat, Navsari and Valsad.
